TUCSON, Ariz., June 1, 2025 — ¡Para Todos!, a new nonprofit organization dedicated to providing community-centered spaces, is excited to announce its official launch with a community mixer celebration to coincide with the International Day of Play on June 11, 2025. The celebration will begin at 1 p.m. at the El Pueblo Activity Center.
The mission of ¡Para Todos! is to reinvigorate the South Tucson community by hosting inclusive events and providing resources for a range of resident needs, with a focus on children and parents of all abilities. The vision for the nonprofit is to build connections within the community and help provide a support network for future generations.
¡Para Todos! is founded and led by Abby Splittstoesser, a South Tucson resident with a background in working in nonprofits. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments from the University of Arizona, with a focus on sustainable and inclusive spaces.
“A community center and support group on the southside is needed more than ever,” Splittstoesser said.
A core service ¡Para Todos! provides is hosting monthly group birthday parties for children in the South Tucson area who would not have one otherwise. Additionally, ¡Para Todos! collects Halloween costumes for children in the community who cannot afford to buy their own.
“Children should feel loved and special, and ¡Para Todos! was founded to help be that extra support network.”
A fund has been set up to collect donations for party decorations, gifts and nonperishable food items. If you would like to donate to the fund or volunteer at the event, contact Abby Splittstoesser at asplittstoesser@paratodos.com.
